Hanson star Zac Hanson is set to become a father for the third time.
According to People magazine , Zac — the youngest member of the Hanson band — and his wife Kate are expecting their third baby together later this year. The couple married in 2006.
The soon-to-be newest member of the Hanson crew is scheduled to arrive this fall and will join 5-year-old brother Shepherd and 2-year-old sister Junia Rosa Ruth.
“It’s fun this time to watch the little ones so excitedly anticipating their new sibling,” the 27-year-old singer told the magazine. “We are so happy and thankful to add more life and love to our family!”
In addition to brothers and sisters, the Hanson’s forthcoming bundle of joy will also have plenty of cousins to play with.
Zac’s older brother Isaac, 32, has two children, Everett and Monroe, while Taylor Hanson’s brood consists of children Ezra, Penelope, River, Viggo and Wilhelmina.
Besides prepping for the birth of baby No.3, Zac will also be busy in the studio with his brothers finalizing another album.
Anthem — the band’s 11th album — is scheduled for release on June 18.
Zac previously told JustJared.com what fans can expect from the upcoming record.
“I think the best way to describe it is to start with the last record and sort of move forward. Shout It Out was really, we’ve always been really influenced by the ’50s and ’60s, Motown, Rock and Roll. I think Shout It Out really put that in the forefront. So Anthem, the new record, it has a lot of the same heart as Shout It Out, but just a harder edge.”
The Hanson brothers are also expected to kick off their 21st anniversary world tour and their own brand of beer, Mmmhops Pale Ale , later this year.
