“Vice” magazine co-founder and frequent Fox News guest Gavin McInnes appeared on the network Tuesday night when the conversation veered to “Cosmos” host Neil deGrasse Tyson’s interview on MSNBC with Chris Hayes.
Tyson said his great fear is that we have been visited by intelligent aliens, but they chose not to make contact “on the conclusion that there’s no sign of intelligent life on Earth.”
Fox host Greg Gutfeld started the segment with the phrase “Astrophysicist, yeah right, Neil deGrasse Tyson” played part of the interview where deGrasse Tyson talked about the signals we gave out, citing the television shows “I love Lucy” and “The Honeymooners,” then throwing the discussion to McInnes.
“I hate this guy,” McInnes said. “I remember hearing Chris Hardwick on a podcast talk about Neil deGrasse Tyson and he was just salivating. White liberal nerds love this go so much, he could defecate on them like Martin Bashir’s fantasies and they would dance in the streets.”
Bashir made incendiary comments last year about slavery and someone defecating in Sarah Palin’s mouth on MSNBC and resigned from the network in December.
Neil deGrasse Tyson has a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Harvard University, a Master’s in astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin, a second Master’s in astrophysics from Columbia, and a doctorate in astrophysics, also from Columbia reported salon.com
McInnes continued, “All he does is, he’s drunk with adulation. And he talks about things like ‘when I was young in New York I would get racially profiled when I’d go into stores.’ Back then he looked like he was in The Warriors. He had a huge afro and a cutoff shirt and New York was a war zone. Sorry, you fit the profile.”
“All he does is complain about his lot in life and they gave him (original “Cosmos” host) Carl Sagan’s job, he’s a nightmare this guy,” McInnes said.
Fellow guest and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton said “You gotta come down on the liberal intellectual thing, speaking of aliens, I can’t stand liberal intellectuals, and this idea that somehow they get to look down on the rest of the human race, it’s no wonder the extraterrestrials don’t contact us, we don’t have any pride in ourselves. And besides, he’s a racist, he attacked Desi Arnaz.”
Neil deGrasse Tyson is the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
