‘Project Runway’ Alum Christian Siriano Marries Music Producer Brad Walsh In White-Themed Wedding Ceremony

Fashion designer and Project Runway alum Christian Siriano is now a married man.

On Saturday, July 9, Christian Siriano married his longtime boyfriend Brad Walsh in a black and white ceremony held at their summer home in Danbury, Connecticut. Siriano and Walsh wore all black ensembles while the guests were asked to attend in all white attires.

Days before the ceremony, Christian Siriano and Brad Walsh both teased their upcoming nuptials by posting Instagram photos of them getting their marriage license and working on seating arrangements for their wedding.

According to the grooms, they decided to have a white wedding and have the guests wear all white since there was no bride.

“We wanted our best friend to wear white gowns, all from Christian Siriano, of course, as they stood by our sides during the cermony. Then it became a fun idea for the whole event to be a white wedding.”

Kristen Johnston , who is famous for her role as Sally Solomon in 3rd Rock from the Sun , officiated the ceremony, as reported by Us Magazine . Johnston is a good friend of the couple and according to Siriano, she got ordained just for the special occasion. Other celebrities were also in attendance, including Alicia Silverstone, Jay Manuel, Danielle Brooks, Christina Hendricks, Anna Chlumsky, and Kelly Osbourne.

As for the wedding vows, Christian and Brad opted to share short messages for the ceremony, saying that they will be exchanging longer vows in the form of letters in private.

Instead of designing a suit for himself and his groom, Christian Siriano opted to wear a custom suit from his friend, designer David Hart, as he shared to Brides .

“David does menswear so well and he is a friend, so we set up an appointement for custom suits!”

As for the food? Us Magazine reports that Certé, a New York-based caterer, prepared delectable dishes for the wedding including Christian’s favorite lobster dish.

“We both managed to eat a lot of food, thankfully, as the advice from all of our married friends was to make it a point to eat otherwise you never will.”

Guests dined on tables that were covered with huge flower centerpieces made up of pink and white orchids, white hydrangeas, and roses. The tables were covered in white linen and white and blue vintage-style glassware was used.

One thing that worried the couple is the possibility of rain, but everything turned out fine on their special day. “It went off without a hitch,” the couple said. Everyone seemed to have a good time as seen in the pictures posted on Instagram, and even the mothers of Christian and Brad had a blast.

“Both of our mothers hit the dance floor for over 3 hours and never left.”

Christian Siriano is a fashion designer and rose to fame after winning the fourth Season of Project Runway in 2008. He has designed clothes for celebrities such as Zendaya, Sarah Hyland, Jennifer Lopez, and most recently, Leslie Jones, who said that no one wanted to dress her because she isn’t a size zero.

Brad Walsh is a music producer and singer, known for remixing songs for Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, and Britney Spears.

Christian Siriano and Brad Walsh started dating in 2007 and were engaged in 2013, exchanging engagement bracelets instead of the usual rings. They currently reside in an apartment in Chelsea, New York and share two dogs named Bear and Topper.
