Roman Reigns — who has replaced John Cena as WWE’s most polarizing figure — has his fair share of critics who don’t believe he deserves all that he’s gotten during his time on the main roster. Simply put, they feel like he’s been handed everything, while other people on the main roster who “deserve it more” are working their tails off, and getting nowhere. And on Tuesday, Roman dealt with a few of those critics on Twitter. Check it out below.

Let ME give you a tip amateur. @WWE is the Top of the Mountain in Pro Wrestling. A view you’ll never deserve or get to enjoy. #Facts https://t.co/sHf9ebYmi7

Yea I guess working my butt off 5 days a week while being away from my wife and kids for the last 7 years is being “handed” it. #DumbAssMark https://t.co/1SlLhPdEjf

Reigns was pretty much shot right to the top when he came up to WWE’s main roster. Also, he’s been in the main event of three out of the four WrestleManias [31, 32, and 33] that he’s performed at, and, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter , he’ll main event WrestleMania for the fourth time in a row at next year’s show, as he’s reportedly scheduled to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship.

So, why is Roman Reigns getting all of these main event opportunities? The answer is pretty simple — Vince McMahon believes that the fans are invested in Reigns, even if the vocal majority regularly voices their displeasure with him. In the WWE chairman’s mind, a reaction is a reaction, even if it’s negative. So, as long as the people keep reacting, Reigns will keep getting more of the same opportunities.

On this past Monday’s Raw, WWE hyped next week’s show by saying that Roman Reigns will make a huge announcement regarding SummerSlam on the show. Some are thinking that he’ll challenge John Cena, who, according to Cageside Seats , will be the only WWE superstar who’s allowed to be on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live . Others think that he’ll either challenge Braun Strowman, or the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. But, as previously mentioned, the Lesnar match will be held off until next year’s big show in New Orleans.

Reigns’ impending announcement will surely be the talk of the professional wrestling world after next week’s show, regardless of who he challenges, so, next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw will definitely be interesting.
